WHO WE ARE
The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. We are one of the UK's largest membership organisations and are recognised as custodians of Remembrance. We also run the annual Poppy Appeal, provide welfare services and campaign on a range of issues affecting Service people.
The present Branch was formed in 1979 and consists of approx 131 members (15 located in the parish of Wisborough Green and 116 located in the parish of Billingshurst). We are always looking for new members to join us, male or female, young or old and you need NOT have served in the forces either.
If you have any queries or would like to become a member, please call the Secretary on 01403 783392 or by e-mail to: johnjones0@btinternet.com
